My grandfather started Globe with his brother back in 1938. I’ve been around the business since I was a kid, but I joined formally in 2004.
You could say it’s a little more than a business for me and my father, Jay. But honestly, it’s that way for most of us here. We have employees that have been with us since I was a kid. They’re family.
We try to give our people a little extra leeway to deliver on their promises. We do our best to help people get what they need. We try to make a difference in our customers’ businesses so that they stay with us for the long haul.
If we want to be in business for another 80+ years, that’s the way it needs to be.
