Hints for Choosing a Globe Charbroiler:

• Choose a char/lava rock model for flare ups, smoke and char flavor.  But it is slightly harder to maintain and rocks have to be replaced over time.
• Cast iron radiants are better for heat distribution and retention.  They are heavy duty, but require seasoning to protect against rust and corrosion.
• Stainless steel radiants aren’t as high-heat as char rock or cast iron, but they cool down faster, are more durable and resilient, and don’t require oiling.
• All units ship Natural Gas, but can be converted to Liquid Propane using the included conversion kit.
• Economy units are Chefmate by Globe, and are only available in 24″ and 36″ with stainless steel radiants.
