The Globe GC512 is a 12" heavier-medium duty slicer.  It is gear driven and all food contact areas are stainless steel, giving it six hours of slicing time per day.  It's also a great choice if a good portion of your slicing is cheese, as this slicer prevents sticking and can power through it without slipping.

Other features include a permanently attached knife ring guard, knife cover interlock, and an all-metal knife sharpener.

If you slice six hours per day but also need a larger diameter blade, the G14 might be a good option.
