What Does the Globe SG13A Slicer have that the Standard S13A Doesn't?

Advanced features include Home Start, a Carriage Tilt Interlock, Knife Timeout, Close to Stop and more.  There is also an additional stroke length, and two additional stroke speeds to choose from.  Check the chart below to see a comparison.  If you don't need the advanced features, you could also choose the standard S13A.

The 13” German steel knife yields the perfect slices you want for your food business, and can adjust up to 1- 1/8 inch thick. The carriage tilts making it easy to handle larger products such as mortadella, prosciutto and bacon. A carriage tilt interlock keeps the knife from exposure when the carriage is lifted so it does not operate. The SG13A has a no voltage release hence preventing the unwanted reactivation of the slicer in an event of interlock or power interruption. This heavy-duty slicer has a patent-pending anodized construction and design allowing for ease of cleaning. Also patent pending is its Clear Text LCD display that has a graphic user interface, providing operator messages, systems and diagnostics info. It comes with an attached 7 foot 3-wire cord with molded plug, ½ hp, 115/60/1.
